National Pray Vote Stand Summit 2023

Washington, D.C. – The Family Research Council (FRC) and FRC Action are set to host the annual Pray Vote Stand Summit, a gathering of politically active conservatives, from September 15 to 17. This significant event will take place at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., drawing “spiritually active” and “governance-engaged” individuals from across the nation.

The Pray Vote Stand Summit aims to address a multitude of pressing issues that concern conservatives today. These include safeguarding the rights of the unborn, upholding the importance of the nuclear family, protecting domestic and international religious freedom, addressing concerns about ideological indoctrination in American schools, and exploring topics like gender ideology, the military, and election integrity.

The event serves as a platform to inform and mobilize Christians from all corners of the country, urging them to preserve and defend the fundamental values that underpin the nation.

It will feature plenary and breakout sessions, offering discussions on a wide range of topics, including judicial nominations, the education system, evangelism, cultural engagement, protection of children from cultural threats, and the issue of ballot harvesting.

Family Research Council President and FRC Action Chairman, Tony Perkins, highlighted the event’s importance in confronting the cultural and spiritual challenges facing the nation. He emphasized the need for leadership that addresses these issues, particularly as the country enters the 2024 presidential election cycle.

Perkins stated, “Our focus will be ensuring that the sanctity of human life, upholding the true, God-given purpose of human sexuality, and the myriad policies that affect the family — ranging from religious freedom to tax policy — remain front and center.”
