CNN panel was shocked by Donald Trump’s refusal and I was stunned by what I had just witnessed. Kaitlan Collins repeatedly pressed Trump to retract his claims about the 2020 election being “rigged” or stolen, but he stood firm and refused to back down.

It quickly became apparent that Trump would not be swayed by pressure from the media or anyone else. Despite the Trump-friendly crowd, CNN’s coverage of the event was not successful. One panelist from the CNN focus group observed that the media, not Trump, was fixated on the 2020 election and January 6th.

President Donald Trump will participate in a Republican Presidential Town Hall event on CNN, which will be moderated by Kaitlan Collins and take place at St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The 90-minute forum will include questions from Collins and a live audience and will air live on CNN and other streaming platforms. The event marks Trump’s first appearance on CNN since the 2016 campaign and is seen as a move to broaden his audience ahead of the 2024 presidential election. Some Trump supporters criticize the decision to appear on CNN, while CNN has faced criticism for legitimizing Trump’s potential campaign.

Topics could well include Trump’s legal troubles at CNN Town Hall

1- E. Jean Carroll, a writer who accused Trump of raping her in 1996, has filed a defamation lawsuit against him, which Trump is currently defending himself against.

2- Trump has been indicted in New York City on criminal charges related to hush money payments made to a former mistress during the 2016 presidential campaign. The charges include falsifying business records and campaign finance violations.

3- Despite the allegations and charges, Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing and claims that they are politically motivated.

4- In addition to the above, there are three other ongoing investigations involving Trump: attempts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia, the handling of classified documents during his presidency, and his alleged involvement in the insurrection on January 6, 2021. These investigations are still ongoing, and it remains to be seen what further legal challenges they may pose for Trump.
