2024 Biden’s Campaign Website Message:

President Joe Biden announced his candidacy for President of the United States in the 2024 Presidential Election. In a video titled “Freedom,” he reflected on his 2020 campaign message, emphasizing the country’s ongoing battle for its soul. He urged Americans to defend democracy and personal freedoms.

This announcement marks exactly four years since President Biden announced his 2020 candidacy, focusing on restoring the nation’s soul, rebuilding the middle class, and uniting the country.

President Biden stated, “When I ran for President four years ago, I said we are in a battle for the soul of America – and we still are. The question we are facing is whether in the years ahead we have more freedom or less freedom, more rights or fewer. This is not a time to be complacent. That’s why I’m running for reelection. I know America and I know we are good and decent people. We’re a nation where we give hate no safe harbor. We believe that everyone is equal and that everyone should be given a fair shot to succeed in this country.”

He also introduced his campaign leadership. The national co-chairs include Congresswoman Lisa Blunt-Rochester, Congressman Jim Clyburn, Senator Chris Coons, Senator Tammy Duckworth, Congresswoman Veronica Escobar, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Julie Chávez Rodríguez will serve as Campaign Manager, and Quentin Fulks as Principal Deputy Campaign Manager.

President Biden emphasized the importance of this election and expressed confidence in his campaign team, highlighting their expertise, leadership, and dedication.

Vice President Kamala Harris added, “This is a pivotal moment in our history. For two years we have made transformational investments to build a nation in which everyone can be safe and healthy, find a good job, and retire with dignity. The Republicans running for President want to take our country backward. We will not let that happen. Joe and I look forward to finishing the job, winning this battle for the soul of the nation, and serving the American people for four more years in the White House.”
